Once you’re familiar with that, you’ll need to decide what type of configuration on LED grow light you’re looking for. At the current time in the market, there are four popular configurations. These are: Flood, Linear, 4×4 Racking, and Interlight.
LED Flood Grow Light
LED flood grow lights are good for greenhouses and tables. They offer a higher PAR efficacy and usually boast higher life hours as well.
LED Linear Grow Light
An LED linear grow light is optimal for racking/tables/greenhouses. They offer higher PAR efficacy and a lower price than other LED grow lights, and they usually boast longer life hours as well.
LED 4×4 Racking Grow Light
An LED 4×4 racking grow light is made for vertical farming in a 4×4 space. They are typically more expensive with less par efficacy then an LED linear grow light or an flood grow light.They do however have the most uniform coverage compared to LED food grow lights or LED linear grow lights which can have hot spots or dim spots in your coverage.
LED Interlight Grow Light
LED Interlight grow lights are supplemental lighting if the under canopy isn’t getting enough light.
